Ritz Manor Apartments is an independent-living non-profit seniors secured access housing complex with 25 apartment units linked to the West Perth Village by an enclosed walkway. It is operated by the retirement community of West Perth Village (Villa) at the edge of Mitchell, Ontario
Type of Accommodation
18 – One Bedroom Apartments
544 square feet with roomy bedroom, L-shaped living room and dining area, galley kitchen, bathroom and storage room
7 – Two Bedroom
781 square feet with master bedroom, a second smaller bedroom/den, L-shaped living room and dining area, galley kitchen, bathroom and storage room
An elevator allows for ease of access to the second floor. There is a resident lounge area on the main floor and a laundry room with coin operated washers and dryers. Residents are able to participate in congregate dining opportunities, meal service and programs from Mitchell & Area Community Outreach at an additional cost. Please note that the Ritz Manor Apartments do not offer assisted living services at this time.

Services
Our independent living residents at the Ritz Manor can receive Meals on Wheels Monday, Wednesday & Friday if they choose, which is available through Mitchell & Area Community Outreach. There are also a variety of social & congregate dining programs offered through Mitchell & Area Community Outreach.
Rates
Ritz Manor Apartments are available to seniors on a rental basis. One bedroom apartments may be rented by a single person or a couple. Two bedroom units are only available to a couple. Monthly rental covers hydro, heat and water/sewage. Phone and cable TV are the responsibility of the occupant.

History of West Perth Village
West Perth Village was incorporated in May 1971 as a charitable organization dedicated to meeting the residential needs of seniors living in the Municipality of West Perth, which incorporates the town of Mitchell and the surrounding townships of Fullarton, Hibbert and Logan. The organization, which is also a registered charity, is governed by a Board of not more than fourteen volunteer Directors who hold membership in the Corporation and who are elected at its Annual General Meeting. The Corporation has served as the parent organization for a number of services and programs which include…
